You are going to love today's post brought to you by Stephanie Coon from Rehab to Fab. This transformation is wonderful! Plus, she shows all the steps and techniques on a Facebook Live video so you can see the process in real time.
I’ve been looking for the perfect lamps for my living room. The ones I found weren’t exactly what I was looking for and I could not see spending 200.00 on lamps I didn’t love. I’ve had these lamps for about 7 years. So I decided to make the lamps I’ve been looking for!
I first sanded back the existing finish. I then used Iron Orchid Designs moulds & glued them on with Titebond III wood glue. . I then primed the entire lamp.
Painted on Gold by Modern Masters. Next Layer is Heritage Collection Cathedral & final layer is Cashmere. Wet distressed and antiqued with Weathered Wood Antiquing gel by Heritage Collection.~Stephanie
The finished look is stunning and it looks like a completely different lamp. It's rewarding to take something you have lying around and make it into a beautiful piece that suits your style. Be sure to follow Stephanie right here on Facebook to see more of her weekly finds and transformations...
