Layer It Up-Decor Transfer™ feature by New Old Finds

Hello [re]designers! Many have asked if the Decor Transfers™ can be layered and the answer is -Yes! Roz Robertson of New Old Finds has some amazing examples of how you can layer the transfers to achieve beautiful custom designs.

The butterflies are meant to be used individually so you can add them where you like to your project. Just cut out the images with scissors or a craft knife, and burnish to the desired areas.

Roz also lined the side of the drawers for a fun element to the piece when you slide the drawer open. This is the Rustic Teal (635435) transfer sheet that comes in 3 sections, so you can use it all together as one design or individually…

This dresser is a show stopper! Painted in a crisp white and distressed along the edges to give it a rustic shabby touch. The French Ceramics I (635831) set was used on the drawer fronts. The blue flowers look amazing against the white background….

Then she added the butterflies from our Gilded Baroque Scrollwork Decor Transfer™ set in various areas within the French Ceramics design. They look like they belong on the design to begin with-pretty!

For the sides of the dresser she added Floral Lover (635459) with some of the floral images from the front. And again, we spot a cute butterfly tucked in there too. Then a pretty gold border was added just below the top drawer and a a scrolled image at the bottom front as well. There is so much to see, no matter where you look and it all works perfectly together…

The transfer images already boast a distressed look, but you can certainly give them a sanding with fine grit sandpaper for even more of an aged effect….
