Design Your Walls using re·design with prima®!

Happy Friday re·designers! Today, we are featuring a gorgeous wall makeover by Denny Dupra Ruffner. He used a variety of our DIY tolls to take this plain wall from drab to fab! Let’s take a look at what he did….

This is the feature wall in the room. It is painted with a fresh taupey color and white trim. Tape around the windows and trim to prep for the stenciling.

Denny used Decor Transfers™ Rose Celebration and Rouge and Rose and the 3D Stencil, Script.

He used a white paint to add the pattern to the walls. You can roll it on with a dry roller or a stencil brush. Be sure to offload when stencil to avoid any seepage behind the stencil.

He continued in sections until the wall was covered in the script pattern. You dont have to do this perfectly, it can have variations in pattern for a random look.

Next, Denny cut apart the Rose Celebration Decor Transfer™ and taped the pieces in place to create the design he wanted. Then all he had to do was start burnishing the design onto the walls. Notice the tape line in the center? He used that as a guide to let him know where furniture placement was going to be. This will ensure that you will still see the design even when the furniture is put back in place.

He continued with his design, adding the Rouge and Rose Decor Transfer™. This transfer is perfect for cutting apart as well so you can add individual flowers to build up the design where you like. Love how he had the flowers cascading up the wall.

Love how this looks! It looks like a mural that has been hand painted on the walls. And her you can see the metallic accents pop off the images too.

All that was left to do is bring back the furniture. The accent wall really takes center stage with the right placement of furniture in the room!
