Here is the before., dark and dated. And it certainly lacks character. But Roz saw the potential and turned it into an amazing piece….

She gave the base a clean coat of paint using Fusion’s Cathedral Taupe Mineral Paint. The color lightens it up perfectly. Then Roz added some Decor Mould™ appliques, creating her own design using a few of them together. She used the Modeling Material which is an air dry clay that is smooth and easy to work with in the moulds. You can use direct to the mould or add a bit of corn starch for easy release. Supplies: 636432-Regal Filaments, 635732-In Bloom, 635749-In The Garden, 638320-Stick and Style Stencil Roll-Tea Rose Garden, 635190-Chalk Paste-Chalky White, 638290-Modeling Material, 635956-Never Ending Story Decor Transfer

Apply the appliques directly from the mould and adhere with a strong glue. They will shrink a bit but not too much. Once the glue sets, you can add your paint and glazes.

Also used, was the Stick and Style Stencil Roll called Tea Rose Garden. Roz applied the delicate pattern using the Chalky White Chalk Paste®. Love how it blends into the background.

Then she added the Never Ending Story Decor Transfer™ over the stenciled pattern for more design detail. The transfers can be cut apart and used in any areas you like. That’s what makes them so diverse and the effect is so gratifying too!

Love the added trim work to the legs. They look like they have always been there-right? Roz used the Regal Filaments Decor Mould™ (636432).
