Are you a fan of ornate furniture that has what appears to be hand-carved embellishments? Did you know there is a way to recreate that look without having to become a master carver? This gorgeous piece was created by Iwona of By Xaxa. She used Wise Owl Paint Restoration, Dijon, Snow Owl, and Relic to give it an old worn vintage feel. And of course the best part, she used Redesign Moulds to create all the beautiful embellishments!

In this project, Iwona used Lilian Scrolls, Divine Floral, Portico Scroll I, and Portico Scroll II moulds to create this amazing faux hand-carved look. Decor moulds are so easy to use. Just pick your favorite designs. Add in your medium of choice. Paper clay, resin, and hot glue are some of the favorites of furniture artists. Let your moulds set. Then depending on your project either paint and then glue or glue and then paint. You honestly can’t go wrong.
