Using and Sealing Redesign H2O Transfers®
H2O Transfers® are easy to use, however, like all new things a few tips and instructions will make their use even easier.
- First, peel off the film and lay your H2O Transfer® on the prepared surface. You can uses these transfers on wood, canvas, clay, glass, porcelain, paper, concrete, plastic, and so many more surfaces! Always test how your surface will respond to water before attempting to apply the H2O transfer. Surfaces painted with a clay-based paint may need to be sealed first, or there is a risk of reactivating the paint.
2. Add water over the grey design on the paper backing, burnish to remove air bubbles, and let sit for up to three minutes.
3. Peel off the paper backing to reveal the beautiful design.
4. Seal the H2O Transfer® with a water-based sealer. We always recommend testing first. Check the list below for some of the sealers that our team has recommended.
