Using Decor Transfers®️ on Fabric
Have you ever used a decor transfer on fabric? Our guest artist for this blog is Leah from Leah Noell Design Co. Leah used Redesign Decor Transfers®️ to transform her apron.
Leah also used the Redesign Apron for this project. It is 100% cotton and has a super cute ruffle at the bottom!

Painting Your Apron
Leah did an ombre type blend on her apron. First, Leah misted the apron to get it a little bit wet. Then she painted it using Dixie Belle’s Cotton, Pure Ocean, and Colonel Mustard. Leah used the Pure Ocean and the Colonel Mustard to get a nice green in between.
Once she was done, Leah let the apron dry overnight before applying her Decor Transfer.

Adding A Decor Transfer
Leah choose the Folk 1 transfer, applying it with the transfer tool.

Sealing Your Fabric
Leah used Modge Podge for fabric. This sealer has a little more flexibility to it so it will hold up on the fabric easier.
Once it was dried Leah hand washed it. Next you will lay it out to dry overnight. In the morning, put it in the dryer on the low heat setting for only 5 minutes (taking it out to check it every couple minutes). Afterwards, let it air dry the rest of the way. It’s not hard it’s actually soft and wearable!
Look how cute!!
